"Mushroom Kits are wonderful gifts to give and receive. After starting the indoor kits, your first harvest of mushrooms is usually within a few weeks. Outdoor kits may take longer to produce mushrooms. Store kits below 50°F and above freezing, but only for a short time. They are live products; so long delays in starting your kit may reduce your mushroom yield. Complete instructions included with every order.

Portobello and White Button mushroom kits are only available late September through early May. Orders placed out of season will be shipped in late September.

Plug Spawn The mycellium in Plug Spawn is certified organic. Inoculate stumps or logs that are not already inhabited by other fungi. It typically takes up to 12 months for your first flush of mushrooms to appear. In most climates, there is a cycle of 4–6 flushes per year. Complete instructions included with every order.
